Montessori pedagogy

  • An approach which respects each child, his personality, his rhythm and the different stages of his development.
  • A pedagogy whose prime aim is to help a child bloom, give him self-confidence, self-esteem and autonomy.
  • Teachers who are aware of each child’s specific needs to help him know himself. To acknowledge each child’s achievements and to respect differences.

Bilingual French/English teaching

  • Teaching is bilingual from the nursery upwards.
  • English mother tongue children.
  • English mother tongue teachers.
  • Children spend half the day in French and the other half in English in total immersion.
  • In secondary school, the number of hours in English is increased. The French state curriculum is completed with conversation and civilisation lessons.
  • Certain lessons are taught in English (art, culture and conversation).

An international dimension

Eco School project

Our project is to make children aware of what they can do, individually and collectively to change the way of things.
  • Awareness of respect for the environment and sustainable development.
    • Eco school project : commitment to a eco friendly running of the school.
    • Themes covered : food, biodiversity, waste, recycling, energy and water.
  • Education in solidarity and citizenship.
    • Mutual aid at school.
    • Social and humanitarian aid.
  • A school which respects nature.
    • Care of plants and animals, days out at the farm and nature trips.
